Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Too Close to Home was created to raise awareness and educate people about domestic violence, coercive control, and signs of escalating violence by telling true stories. Our host uses the stories to demonstrate the signs in hopes of reaching just one person and helping them recognize they or someone they love, are in a dangerous situation so they can seek help. We also strive to connect our followers to national and local resources, including safety plans so that information is always easy to locate in the case of emergencies. 

At Too Close to Home it is also important to us that we support the victim's families throughout this process so we have included links to their foundations and gofundme accounts when possible. Our deepest condolences go out to all the families of victims who have lost their lives to domestic violence.
